These devices take their place alongside the TC53 and TC58, building on their feature set to meet the ever-evolving mobility needs of today's front line workers and are designed for the enhanced rugged durability required for retail, manufacturing, field service and logistics verticals and use cases while exceeding the standardized testing criteria outlined in the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The TC53e RFID features Android 13 and a 6-inch FHD+ bright edge-to-edge display providing a richer viewing experience that is easy to see indoors as well as outside. The new Qualcomm processor delivers nearly twice the power of the prior generation processor, while consuming less power and support for Wi-Fi 6E provides the fastest wireless speeds, improving connection reliability and application performance providing your workers with everything they need to do business better.
Integrated RFID opens up a world of possibilities with the right short read range of 3.9 ft./1.2 m. Store associates can easily locate an item, check in seconds to make sure all items in a basket were purchased, read all items in a basket simultaneously at the POS, instantly reconcile incoming shipments and reprogram existing tags on returns and ensure each order is complete.

What Accessories are the TC53e/TC53e-RFID/TC58e compatible with?
The TC53e/TC53e-RFID/TC58e is compatible with all existing TC53/TC58 accessories including RFID sleds, batteries, and the Workstation Connect cradle. Additionally, Zebra sells adapter cups enabling legacy TC5 multi-slot charging cradles to charge the TC53e/TC53e-RFD/TC58e.
What is warm swap?
Warm swap enables a user to quickly switch batteries on the TC53e, TC53e-RFD and TC58e. A user will select the mode which will suspend functionality and pause applications as the battery is replaced on the terminal, when a new battery is connected to the terminal, all functionalities will resume.
Can you provide more information regarding the integrated UHF RFID?
Integrated UHF RFID is only available on the WLAN TC53e-RFID SKUs. The typical read range is 1.2 meters at a read rate of 20 tags per second. The TC53e-RFID has the same form factor as the TC53e and can leverage all existing TC53/TC58 accessories including seamless integration with Zebra RFID sleds such as the RFD40.
